Designed by Børge Mogensen for Fredericia Stolefabrik in Denmark, the 2256 model is a classic example of Mogensen’s focus on function and comfort, while maintaining refined proportions that look great over time. This iconic armchair of the designer features rattan cane on the back and a crazy seat, a solid teak sleigh base attached to the oak construction. New Kvadrat wool upholstery with leather straps. Borge Mogensen received multiple awards for his ingenious designs, including the Eckersberf Medals in 1950. He is one of the greatest designers in his country.
