Ceramic Vase by Jacques Pouchain
Description
Ceramic Vase by Jacques Pouchain. He was particularly known for his minimalist style that was inspired by geometric shapes, reminiscent of his first vocation as an abstract painter. At the end of the 50s, he created his own ceramics workshop in Dieulefit. In the 1960s, he worked mainly in abstraction before developing the theme of femininity and fertility in the 1970s. His art ceramics quickly earned him a reputation that is still valid today. The marriage between modernism and charm gives birth to this superb scroll vase. Beige with brown patina, with an incised decoration and in light relief of geometric scarifications.
