Description
Rare pendant lamp attributed to Svend Aage Holm Sørensen. Very beautiful “diabolo” lampshade held by a double brass stem, which gives it its originality. A shiny and elegant design with upward and downward lighting, and solid metal and brass structure. Holm Sørensen designed luminaires for the major Danish manufacturers Fog & Mørup and Lyfa in the 1950s. He then founded his own company, Holm Sørensen A/S. His 1950’s designs reflect the style of mid-century modern lighting. Like its pendant lamps with brass and copper surfaces, arouse great interest among collectors.
