Richard invented the first French spot at the end of the 1950s. This floor lamp is a classic of the designer, its minimal and refined style, engenders simple shapes perfectly proportioned in the service of perfect functionality. Even more, the details such as the marble base and the lampshades, give it an even more elegant aesthetic. Thanks to his successful and unique design, Richard won the Grand Prix at the Milan Triennale in 1954, the Grand Prix at the 1958 Universal Exhibition, and the René-Gabriel Prize in 1964.
