Description
Beautiful “Capella” armchair designed by Danish designer Illum Wikkelsø. With beautiful proportions, its elegance is remarkably underlined by the combination of solid rosewood and black leather cushions. The simple lines highlight the warmth and richness of grain of rosewood.
Wikkelso first worked for Danish cabinetmaker Jacob Kjær and architects Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard until he opened his own studio in 1954. Its design combines aesthetics, simplicity and functionality and is considered a classic of Danish modernism.
