Description
Pair of “Samsö” lounge chairs by Kofod Larsen. It is a model almost as iconic as the Elizabeth armchair. His work became increasingly sought after in the late 1950s. And in the 1960s, when he was commissioned by Olof Persson to produce a furniture collection specifically for the Swedish market. This model is produced by the Swedish manufacturer OPE at the same time as 2 other iconic Kofod Larsen models “Seal” and “Candidaten”. With its finesse of design and elegance, it is perhaps his most beautiful achievement. And here with a very nice rosewood grain that highlights the armrests.
