Stålhane played a major role in the popularization of Swedish pottery during the 20th century, working for more than thirty years at Rörstrand, one of the oldest ceramics producers in Europe, responsible for small-batch studio pieces, tableware and decorative accessories. His work is represented in many international museums, including the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm and the MoMA in New York.
This vase with beautiful lines and beautifully glazed glaze is representative of the artist’s elegant and timeless style. With its original shape and in perfect condition, the piece is signed by Stålhane under the base.
