Description
Stålhane played a major role in popularizing Swedish pottery during the 20th century, working for more than thirty years at Rörstrand, one of the oldest ceramics producers in Europe. In the 70s he founded his own ceramics workshop, Designhuset and produced his own creations. His work is presented in many international museums, including the National Museum in Stockholm and the MoMA in New York.
This vase with beautiful lines and glaze of a beautiful glaze is representative of the artist’s elegant and timeless style. With its original shape and in perfect condition, the piece is signed by Stålhane under the base.
